There are three terms a year. From early October to mid or late December, from late January to early April, and from mid-May to early July.

First year students work Monday to Thursday from 6.30pm to 10.15pm and on Sunday from 1.00pm to 8.00pm or later.

Second year students in their fourth term work Tuesday to Friday from 6.30pm to 10.15pm, on Saturday from 10.00am to 7.45pm and Sunday from 10.00am to 2.30pm. In terms five and six second year students are liable to be called at any time including weekday time.

In the first four terms students may be called on the fifth evening or second weekend day if it is considered necessary and they must attend even if it is short notice.
